Once again, for 4 weeks the site of our traditional folk festival at Travemuender Allee will change into a colourful funfair with lots of entertainment like a haunted house, loopings and fun rides for kids.

The German Festival of Ice Sculptures and Lübeck´s Ice-Skating Rink turn the famous backdrop of the Holstentor into a cracking crunchy cold winter landscape amidst the mediaeval brick Gothic. The theme of the unique sculptures are the Holy scripture with bible stories of the Old and the New Testament.
